The OG Venn Diagram
Ancient Christianity has such a rich visual language that seems often ignored or co-opted in the modern age. There is some controversy as to whether the "triqueta" or "Trinity Knot" was originally Christian, or just a decorative design element. Regardless, by the 7th century Celts were definitely using it to represent the Holy Trinity. Since then, this interlaced mark has been 'borrowed' by a variety of sources, from cheesy YA soap operas like "Charmed" and the German Netflix series "Dark," to making an appearance on Thor's hammer, Mjolnir in the Marvel-verse. It seems like fair game to reclaim.
In my modern eye, the triqueta looks like the very first Venn diagram. It's the perfect visual encapsulation of a very complex concept. This 100% cotton Christian t-shirt just plays that idea out.
